Earlier we’ve invited players to attend a snow mobile trip, dog sledding, feeding and running with the raindeer, as well as visits to the superb snow hotel Sorrisniva.

Rolffa to Perform at the Banquet!
During the Power Solutions Arctic Chess NGP in February, participants will also have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the social side of the tournament. The banquet at Rabagast will bring everyone together for good company, live music and a performance by Rolffa.
The band from Karasjok has been a distinctive presence on the Sámi music scene since the mid-2000s. With their own take on party joik, they combine traditional joik with elements of pop, reggae, ska, country and hip-hop, performing songs in Sámi, Norwegian and English.
Rolffa had their major breakthrough with Partyjoik, won the Sámi Grand Prix with Gulatgo Mu in 2011, and gained widespread attention with their version of Kaizers Orchestra’s Hjerteknuser.
For us, it is important that the tournament offers a strong social experience alongside the chess. The banquet will be a place for participants to meet away from the chessboard, get to know one another and enjoy a great evening together.
With Rolffa taking the stage, we hope to create exactly that: an evening filled with great party music, energy and a fantastic atmosphere at Rabagast.
